November

November, Franz turned 31. Man he is old! I made him his favorite, Angel food cake, with fresh whipped cream and raspberries. I let the cake cool on the table. When I went to inspect it after a bit I noticed a huge chunk missing. I looked at Cyprian and asked him if he knew what happened. He looked very scared and guilty, replying Clement did it. I knew Clement hadn't because he was with me. He finally admitted to trying to see if it was okay.

Thanksgiving was a wonderful time with friends. We roasted Big Billy Bob, and one other meat chicken. A friend of ours made an awesome brine. There was so much food, I kept eating all day long. People stayed till evening, visiting, and eating food. We had tons of left overs...

This is also the month that we made huge leaf piles. The kiddos with their friends enjoyed jumping into the fluffy piles, burying each other, and making a huge nest in the leaves. We had a nice crop of pecans which we gathered. All throughout November the weather was quite nice.

Hello!
