Hard work

Wow! I am getting such a good workout in. Harvesting the squash and pumpkins is hard work. The problem is I eat a ton. Hopefully I'm not overeating:') We just about finished the pie pumpkins. Tomorrow we will finish the pumpkins and the spagetti squash. Whew! I have a lot more arm muscle. My Honey better watch out, I think I have bigger arm muscles:"0 Cyprian is so close to climbing the stairs. Yikes! He is a wild crazy little man. He loves to shout spit and laugh. He just has a ton of energy. He is always ready to go by 6:00am. I really need to start going to bed sooner.

Yesterday was of course the usual rainy day. We boxed up 14 box of pie pumpkins and 11 spagetti squash, and brought them to Organic Valley. I was in a temper about the whole disorganized process and the fact that some people seem to conveintly avoid the back breaking labor. My hormones are driving me crazy!!!!! I tried to rest some, got one good nap with my little munkin man.

Today was a beautiful day. The sun beat down us and there was a breeze. Perfect for working in the fields. Its a wonderful feeling when you have put in a full day of work. I especially got a workout running back several times to nurse Cyprian. After a hearty supper now I am going to take a bath and get Cyprian and myself ready for bed. Then we will try to wait patiently for Daddy to call...........

Short

Harvested all day. Meyer boys came and brought a friend. We finished the acorn squash. Whew! I now have a sore throat. Can't write to much tonight. I'll write more tomorrow, hopefully I feel better. I need to drink a cup of hot tea. Ahhhhhhhh...........

Quick update

It's Sunday!

Still wet gray and rainy. We plan on picking apples for cider today. Yesterday was a pretty lazy day. Friday night we all started to feel a little under the weather. So thats why Saturday we didn't do anything extra, just kept the house clean and made meals. I also made chocholate chip oatmeal peanutbutter cookies. There are a lot. It's no wonder how I seem to fill out so well:") Actually when I weighed myself two days ago I weighed the same as I did this past month. I am all excited because I think I have finally made the decision to make my Shaklee business a profitable income. I got to go because Mom says no computer on Sunday, so goodbye!

Another rain day!

The theme here is gray and rainy. It has rained almost every day since we came to WI. Last night Cyprian and I went and watched the Office at Mary and Elaine's. It was good to see them and also Theresa. Cyprian hates riding in the back of the car at night. He cried so forlornly, I felt like an awful mother. I think he misses Daddy. Yesterday we finished hauling and storing the squash and pumpkins we had harvested on Wednesday. We got it all done just in the nick of time. It literally started to rain when I brought the last load in. I picked apples in the rain and Rachel picked raspberries. The apples and raspberries are just awesome this year!

I love being out in the field working hard getting dirty. It's such a good feeling to see all the work we accomplished, and food saved. I really am a country girl at heart. Someday Franz Cyprian all the future Klein babies and I will live in the country. God willing! I would love to raise a few of each farm animal, have a garden and woods to explore and hunt in, and so on.

Cyprian ate peices of raspberries by himself yesterday. Soon he will be walking>>>>>and running and getting into everything!!!!! Well we hope today to work on apples. We'll make applesauce, apple pie slices, and maybe some cider. I know my Mom is going into LaX so we might go with her. I am so tired. Beck and I watched Inkhart last night, what a strange movie. It wasn't worth staying up till after midnight. Especially when Cyprian woke up at 2:30 and two more times after that. Then decided it was time to get up at 6:00am. Ugh! Hind sight is always keen....

Whew!

Yesterday day was very productive. I picked wiped hauled and stacked hundreds of acorn squash,and pumpkin.
