Easter this year was April 7th. The night before Easter Sunday Franz Cyprian and I attended the Easter Vigil. Instead dressing Cyprian up I put him in his white and red stripe jailbird pj's that Great Grandma Korish made for him. At first he was to excited by the candles and fire started outside of church. He did not want to go to sleep, I was about to give up trying when shortly before communion he succombed. Mass was three hours long, which is a long time for little ones and their parents. I'm glad we went though, I have always loved the Easter vigil. It was after midnight when we got home. Franz and I tired as we were dyed easter eggs so that we would have them for Cyprian in the morning.
Next morning I put together a basket for Cyprian. It consisted of a felt basket with a frog on it. I filled it with a kalidiscope, little metal slinky, sidewalk chaulk, a bannana, baggy of organic animal crackers, colored egg with his name on it. Franz hid the basket and made a trail with colored eggs to the spot. Cyprian actually followed it and loved the whole deal:')
We then kept busy cleaning and preparing food for Easter lunch at the Lindleys. It was very enjoyable. The kids got to participate in a egg hunt which there were tons of eggs. Cyprian found several which I put in my bag. Later I discovered the kids had gone and found them in my bag and had eaten most of the candy... I wasn't to dissapointed, less sugar for my guy. It was nice to relax and visit with people, several whom we had not met before. All in all it was a beautiful day thanks to the Lindleys for hosting and providing a pleasant gathering.
Now to our house search. We looked at nine houses. Three were under contract shortly after looking at them and two of them we were interested in. Finally, on the nineth house we looked at, because I had liked the discription, we really liked the house and yard. The only reason Franz baulked at looking at it, was because it was a little higher priced then we were looking for. It is three bedroom two bathroom. It has hardwood floors, a hot tub and fish pond out back. There is also a shed that will house Franz's office and a room for tools. The backyard is fenced in, and it has some pretty landscaping. So long as everything goes well, we are going to be closing on the 10th of May. Thankfully we are taking advantage of the 8,000.00 dollar tax credit. I will be able to be more discriptive once we actually own the house. Its exciting to dream about what we are going to do though.

Marching on....
Sooooo.......
I left off with Cyprian getting another ear infection that was March 19th. All through March we have been keeping plenty busy with things to do and see.
Franz and I joined the Dallas running Club you pay 35$ for a couples membership and it lets you run in 8 races for free throughout the year. You can also run in other races at a discount. I started running again just in the beginning of March, it has been slow but good. On March 6th I kicked it off with a 2mile fun run. I jogged the whole way pushing Cyprian in the jogging stroller. To boot the stroller had a flat tire and we were running along a levee so it was a rock, dirt, and slippery footing. Franz ran a 6k and won first place overall. Very exciting, the best was Cyprian and I were cheering him on at the end and before he crossed the finish line he gave me a kiss. It was all video taped by some reporter. It was really nice, there was great food, awesome hundred dallor prizes and two were over a thousand dallors.
Also, throughout March I have been keeping Cyprian and I busy by babysitting. Its great because Cyprian gets to play and be around other children. I just enjoy other kids and seeing them play with Cyprian.
My flower plants that I planted earlier are doing quite well. I have marigolds, shasta daisy's, sun flowers, sweet peas, and a wild flower mixture sown. My sage is also popped up, but I'm dissapointed that my peppermint seems to have fizzled. Oh well, its always a feat anyway because between Augustine our cat and Cyprian, I have to keep an eye on my plants so they do not become obliterated completely:')
I am happy to say that since I have been home from Christmas in Wisconsin, that I have kept the dishes done and everything straightened up before going to bed. It has thankfully become a habit.
Cyprian is so fun to take to the park. He has no fear and loves to climb on everything. He can climb the play things all by himself, and he also knows how to push himself down the slide. He sits down turns around like he would to go down stairs and then scoots back. So, he slides down backwards on his belly. I have had several other parents at the park remark on how amazing it is to see a little guy like him just go all by himself.
Franz has been officially accepted into the IPS program at UD. YEAH! CONGRATULATIONS HONEY!!! This is a big deal, because now that we know were are staying here we are looking to buy a house. I will talk more about that later. My Hon is also working really hard to support Cyprian and I, I am so proud of him. Hopefully I let him know that and also remember to not get so crabby too often:')
It is late so I will end here. Next I will share about EASTER! But I need to for now take advantage of some sleep time.
Goodnight my bloggy blog, sleep tight my bloggy blog!
