May brings the end of the semester for Franz. Yeah! Then we started all kinds of fun outings. We went a nice camping trip with our friends the Berquist at Joel Pool Lake. We swam in the lake, hiked, cooked over a fire. After putting the boys down praying the rosary, we stayed up late playing banana grams.

Family visited, my parents, and the Martyns. My parents were here for Franz and my 4 year wedding anniversary. They graciously watched the boys, so Franz could take me on a couple hour horse back ride through the woods. We were served grilled steak, grapes, veggies, and wine, by a catfish pond. We had a camera to take pictures but twice we got to jump our horses over a creek bed and Franz who was holding the camera dropped it so it wouldn't take pictures. Someone took some pictures for us on their phone and they were suppose to send them via email but I never received them. Oh well, I still have the beautiful memory....We took my parents to the stockyards to watch the cattle be herded down the street. We ate at a barbecue pit and had fried pickles etc. We took them to the farmers market and downtown for the bronze cow display.

Shortly after my parents left the Martyns came for a visit. While they were here we visited the farmers market the bronze cow again. We also had a nice brunch with our friends the Berquist and Mrs. Berquist family who roadtripped here to Texas from California. We went to the Renaissance  Festival. Where we wondered around, watching shows, and Cyprian and I rode an elephant. Cyprian, Clement and I were suppose to go to Houston with Julie and Wrangell, and Franz would come a day later. I ended up being so ill, that I kinda wondered if I was dying. I had a horrendous headache, I couldn't eat anything for feeling sick to my stomach, and was really weak. Thankfully Franz was around to help watch kiddos so I could rest in our dark room all day drinking just water. I felt really bad because I was not able to enjoy our last day with Julie and Wrangell. Thankfully after a good nights rest I was much better the next day, not 100% but much improved. So next it will be our adventures from June....
