Oh where oh where have I been the last several months.....
Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, here in Texas, and now Clement and I are going to Alaska.
Ah, life is busy, great, awesome!!!
The best news is the growing little one in my belly. Cyprian is sure we are having a girl, and I must say that I am leaning that way. But with me saying that now we will probably have a boy:') We went yesterday and purchased a doll for Clement and Wrangell my godchild. Wrangell's mom (my sister) is due with a baby girl October 16. That is why Clement and I will be going to Alaska to help out. Some may think it is strange to buy boys dolls, but I think a basic baby like doll is wonderful practice for little ones expecting a new sibling. It helps them to have a positive outlook about baby, hopefully:'). Cyprian liked the new doll so much that he graciously gave Clement his doll from when I was pregnant with Clement. Cyprian said that Clement could have the old doll because it is a little smaller. Clement does not seem to mind in the least so now Cyprian is the proud owner of a new baby doll.
It is really starting to feel nice. We have had the ac off for awhile now and windows open all the time. It got so nice and cool last night that I woke up and shut windows all or most of the way. I love that I was able to wear a plaid shirt and make a hot cup of chai tea to warm up this morning.
Now I am finally able to eat, and I have to be careful that I don't over do it. I did not have this problem when I was pregnant with the boys, which is partly why I think I may be carrying a girl. I was depressed for awhile because I normally love food, and the thought, sight, and smell of it was making me very queasy. I should be thankful though that I never actually threw up. Just suffered from lack of appetite. My improved appetite might have something to do with the cooler temperatures.
Franz has started his third year in the IPS program at UD. It is really exciting because his credits transferred from his Masters from Winona, so now he only has to take the core class each semester and a Bible course this fall. If he can manage it with work, and school papers, he will be studying for the comp. exams and possibly take them in the spring. That could make a big difference in how long we stay in Texas. So if you are reading this, anybody, please say a prayer that the best path will be pursued in his academic journey. Thank you!
Both Cyprian and Clement are becoming little men. I lately have been thinking about the beautiful, awesome, scary, blessing of being a parent. God is so good, and thank goodness for his mercy. There are days I struggle so with my impatience and temper, and mercifully there are days I feel I am being the mother and wife God meant me to be. Both boys have developed a strong attachment to the other. Sure they fight, but honestly not too much...They actually have lots of fun times together. Both like helping Daddy out in the morning with animals chores. They both have different ways of working and greeting the day. But they both love to get into trouble and go on great adventures together.
Funny thing I just looked at my last post and apparently the boys were not on such good terms with playing together. Time and being older have helped a lot...
I have way to much written here, but I am hoping to reminisce and tell of all crazy wonderful adventures of the past several months. I will just have to take one story at a time and post it here! Too I will be putting pictures from over the summer months...
